Hans Christian Andersen (1805–1875) was a Danish storyteller,  the author of more than 400 fairy tales, poet, writer, playwright, essayist. Memory of Andersen is immortalized in sculptures: in Copenhagen the statue of the Little Mermaid was established in honor of Andersen. There is also the award of Hans Christian Andersen. "The Piggy Bank" is a fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. In a children's room stood a piggy bank. It was haughty because it could buy everything in the room. One-day toys played humans and only the pig didn't participate in the game. It wanted to watch the game only from its home. It thought, that everyone should comply with its wishes, and all toys did.
