John Francis Campbell (1821 – 1885) was a renowned Scottish author and scholar who specialised in Celtic studies. Campbell gained the world popularity due to his Celtic folklore and Gaelic peoples in particular. Most well-known published works are the bilingual "Popular Tales of the West Highlands" and "The Celtic Dragon Myth", published posthumously in 1911. “The Tale of Conal Crovi” is a fairy tale collected and published by John Francis Campbell. This is a story about an ancient legend of Conan Crovi which was popular at the time of main characters' lives. He was a person that had every thing better than another waiting. He was somehow a mysterious person to those who didn't know him but the other ones considered him to be an ordinary man. So, what is the secret of this human?
