Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle (1859 – 1930) was a Scottish author, playwright and physician. He is mostly known for his fictional stories of adventures and investigations of Sherlock Holmes and doctor Watson, a private detective from London and his companion. "The Resident Patient" is a detective short story by Arthur Conan Doyle. Doctor Percy Trevelyan was an outstanding student, but quite short on money. Due to pennilessness, he found himself involved into some unusual business affair – someone named Blessington offered Percy to establish finest premises and pay all the expenses, but demanded three-fourths of all the income.
