Howard Pyle (Mar 5, 1853 – Nov 9, 1911) was an American illustrator and author. In 1894 he began teaching illustration at the Drexel Institute. On the verge of twentieth century, he has founded his own school of art. His classic publication of The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood remains in print up to date due to its popularity. He published his first novel, Otto of the Silver Hand, in 1888. He also illustrated historical and adventure stories for papers and magazines. Men of Iron is an adventure novel by Howard Pyle. The narrative follows Myles Falworth, a trainee at the castle of the great Earl of Mackworth. He wins his reputation of a brave man and independence. Unfortunately, he learns that his blind father was condemned for treason. Falwarth family had a powerful enemy among King’s finest, and to end this rivalry Myles has challenge Kings Champion.
