Catherine "Katie" Langloh Parker (1856 – 1940) was born at Australia and lived in New South Wales. She is well-known for her recording the folk stories of the Aboriginal people. Her collection was one of the first attempts of researching Aboriginal people's folk, beliefs and short stories of north-west New South Wales. She is best known by her books such as “Australian Legendary Tales”, “Tales of the Dreamtime”, “Wise Women of the Dreamtime” and other. One of Australian legends is going to relate you about one hunter named Wurrunnah who some day decided due to his hunger and rage leave his home and start to find a new people in a new country. On his way he met a strange old man who was absolutely blind but looked unoffending and offered him some food because hunter looked very tired and starving. A traveling hunter didn't refuse the gift and took the meal. But having a considerable doubt he changed the way of his path and reached some strange country which was perfectly unknown for him. What happened to him later?
