Tibetian fairy-tales reflected thew wisdom of the Tibetian people and belongs to the heritage of one of the oldest cultures. Many of these tales have a sacred core as they tell us of the creation of the world, the origin of various natural forces, of the afterlife as Tibetians see it according to their Buddhist-driven beliefs. The story tells us about those blessed times where the sky was blue, the mountains were high, the clouds were white and the people were better. The central figures of the story is a louse and a flea who wants to carry down a load of wood. They decide to make a competition to see who will get home first.
