Josephine Preston Peabody (George Peabody) was an American writer of verse dramas and of poetry that ranged from precise, ethereal verse to works of social concern. One of her most famous works became the collection “Old Greek Folk Stories Told Anew”, published in 1894, that includes the fanciest versions of the most interesting myths. “Apollo's Sister” is the well-known legend about Diana, twin-sister of Apollo. It was Actaeon, a grandson of the great king Cadmus… Start your journey to the ancient world of powerful gods and fearless heroes with “Apollo's Sister”!
