Charles Benziger (1799 - 1873), was a Swiss business man and a literate man. He was the establisher The pilgrim, a popular Catholic paper. Also he was a public person, whose polical career climaxed in presidency of the Swiss canton of Schwyz. Nicholas Benziger (1808 – 1864), was Charles’ younger brother and partner in business. He author of innovative methods of trade, that were firstly applied in small villages, and then in big cities of Europe and America.
